What we do

This is what Project 1882 does to dismantle fur farms

  • By informing the public about the situation of animals. For example, through campaigns that also aim to introduce a ban on fur farming. Most recently with the European citizens' initiative Fur Free Europe.
  • Putting pressure on politicians and authorities to change the laws that affect animals in the fur industry, at EU level. The fur farms must be phased out as soon as possible.
  • By being part of the international cooperation Fur Free Alliance (FFA) together with over 50 animal rights and animal welfare organizations. Together we are working for a fur-free world.
  • Influencing companies to adopt fur-free policies, which are compiled in the list called Fur Free Retailer organised by FFA worldwide.
